Country music will never be as great as Rock N' Roll. It will always be just sappy and boring. BLEECCHHH!!!

You may need to add that people see country music representing an innocent time and place in our society when men were men and women hid there strength behind the southern bell ethic of beauty and charm. A time when life was a little simpler. Slow down and watch the sun set or the corn fields grow. Raise a family, respect the flag and go to church to learn to fear God. It's the picket fence mentality that created this great country. We all yearn for it. Country Music just gives us a taste of it.

Country lyrics and music stay much closer to the truth of the love, heartache, loss, success, and achievement that most modest people experince during their earthly careers - no BS in their bones.
