Bingo! The working stiff will get the hidden tax to subsidize this dilusional abberation. Their benefits are basic generic "run of the mill" programs, with very little coverage, only high co-pays,and deductible. Many will have their hours cut back, and more part-timer's hired. This program is authored by Kennedy, and Dodd, two of the most dispicable,front-runners for the k-street boys in DC! Massachusett's health care mandate, is a big failure, and is costing the state to go-off-balance,just to fund this folly, first (ironic isn't it a republican's brain child?)thought up by Gov.Mitt Romney. Our health care is fine currently,it's just that alot of people don't want to pay for the premiums, and I for one don't want the government paying/footing the bill for the 15/18 million illegals in the country. Not on my dime! Thanks E'Mac Great article as usual(:

Emac,
Who can shred the lies of the advocates of socialized medicine? Advantage-Emac. I worked for Hechinger's from 1986 to 1990 and had no problems getting insurance. Those who bash Wal-mart for not "providing" health insurance to their employees are bigger liars than Joe Isuzu. Wal-mart wants to keep the best employees which allows it to remain profitable.
All these advocates have is emotion that sustains their lies in order to gut American medicine to Third World levels. The only way to counter it is logic or put them in a room w/Tracy Byrnes for an hour. Either way, they suffer a fate worse than death.
     Happy Independence Day

EMac, as always, you rock. You consistently point us the way to the truth, one of the last of a dying breed of objective reporters. Your clarity of mind, integrity and honesty shine through, both on your web column and TV. Just as you did with your prior story about Ruth Madoff and what she withheld from prosecutors (just because there's no evidence doesn't mean she's innocent), you give us another side to think about for why Walmart's now supporting Obamacare. I will always remain a huge, huge fan of yours. My family and I love watching you! Rock on EMac!

Interesting that after years of using states Medicaid systems for their employees, Wal-Mart is stepping up to force small business who can't afford it to pay once again for their employees.

Wal-mart is self insured, and offer great insurance benefits to those who qualify. They have a leg up on the compeition already due to being self insured. Wal-mart also owns the company who does the administration of their insurance policy.
