The Outlook for Ford Motor

Ford Motor Co. (F) cut $9.9 bn, or 38%, of its $25.8 bn automotive debt via a cash, debt and equity refinancing of its bondholders, a vote of confidence by its creditors. Its latest moves leaves the auto side of its balance sheet with $3.9 bn in cash (it was $6.3 bn) against about $15.9 bn in debt.
